Covid Policy & Cancellation Policy

Risk
An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. By attending the 2022 SAC Annual Meeting and other related activities (collectively, the “Event”), you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.

Safety Measures

The Sustainable Apparel Coalition, Inc. is committed to providing the safest environment possible for the Event. Therefore, the participants of the Event will follow all local and federal regulations in Singapore. Participants are responsible for knowing, understanding, and following relevant regulations.
As of October 10th 2022, this includes, but is not limited to the below (in summary):
  • Masks: In accordance with Singapore’s current COVID-19 measures, mask-wearing is optional, but highly encouraged at the Event. Disposable masks will be provided at the Event.
  • Vaccination-Differentiated Safe Management Measures (SMMs): As of October 10th, 2022, vaccination-differentiated SMMs are NOT required at the Event.

Additional safety measures:

  • Social Distancing: Although social distancing is not required by the Singapore government as of August 30th, 2022, we are encouraging attendees of the Event to reduce their physical contact as much as possible. Please confirm with someone that they are comfortable shaking hands, hugging, standing in close proximity, etc. before undertaking such action. If they are not, please respect their boundaries.
  • On-Site Sanitary Measures: Hand sanitizer, sanitizing wipes, and masks will be available at the Event.

Recent Illness

Do not attend the in-person Event if you have experienced any or several of the following:

  • If you or someone in your family has experienced symptoms including fever, fatigue, sore throat, difficulty breathing, a dry cough or any other symptoms exhibiting signs of COVID-19 or any communicable disease within 14 days of your arrival at the Event.
  • You or someone in your household have been diagnosed with COVID-19 within the past 14 days prior to the Event.

Additionally, the Singapore Ministry of Health has issued a set of protocols that you should follow if you are feeling unwell, displaying COVID-19 symptoms or test positive while visiting Singapore.
