Covid Policy & Cancellation Policy

Risk
An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. By attending the 2022 SAC Annual Meeting and other related activities (collectively, the “Event”), you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.

Safety Measures

The Sustainable Apparel Coalition, Inc. is committed to providing the safest environment possible for the Event. Therefore, the participants of the Event will follow all local and federal regulations in Singapore. Participants are responsible for knowing, understanding, and following relevant regulations.

As of August 30th 2022, this includes, but is not limited to the below (in summary):

  • Masks: In accordance with Singapore’s current COVID-19 measures, mask-wearing is optional, but highly encouraged at the Event. Disposable masks will be provided at the Event.
  • Vaccination-Differentiated Safe Management Measures (SMMs): In accordance with Singapore’s current COVID-19 measures, vaccination-differentiated SMMs are required at the Event. To comply, all attendees must meet the requirements listed in Paragraph 4 and Annex B on this page.
    • IMPORTANT NOTE: Upon check in at the Event, all attendees must show proof of meeting vaccination-differentiated SMMs through the TraceTogether app or token. Refer to this guide to activate your TraceTogether application or write to support@tracetogether.gov.sg for assistance.

Additional safety measures:

  • Social Distancing: Although social distancing is not required by the Singapore government as of August 30th, 2022, we are encouraging attendees of the Event to reduce their physical contact as much as possible. Please confirm with someone that they are comfortable shaking hands, hugging, standing in close proximity, etc. before undertaking such action. If they are not, please respect their boundaries.
  • On-Site Sanitary Measures: Hand sanitizer, sanitizing wipes, and masks will be available at the Event.

Do not attend the in-person Event if you have experienced any or several of the following:
