This update reflects Cascale’s commitment to continuously evolving, updating, and refining the Higg Index to meet the needs of members, users, and the industry.

The Sustainable Apparel Coalition (SAC) will host its first Manufacturer Forum of 2024 on March 6 in Dhaka, Bangladesh; the event will be held alongside the Sustainable Apparel Forum, which will be hosted by the Bangladesh Apparel Exchange on March 5.

Cascale (formerly the Sustainable Apparel Coalition) hosted its first Manufacturer Forum of 2024 — and first under the new name — on March 6 in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
Andrew Martin, executive vice president at Cascale (formerly the Sustainable Apparel Coalition), recently joined a panel at the OECD Forum on Due Diligence in the Garment and Footwear Sector in Paris.
Cascale (formerly the Sustainable Apparel Coalition) collaborated with Fashion Charter Decarbonization Working Group members on the UN Fashion for Climate Report, Guidance for Measuring Greenhouse Gas Emissions for Purchased Goods and Services in the Apparel and Footwear Industry.
Joyce Tsoi, SAC Decarbonization Program director, spoke at a recent Hong Kong Intimate Apparel Industries Association (HKIAIA) event that centered around the theme of “carbon.”
As part of the collaboration, the SAC will join IF on their two flagship Sustainable Apparel and Textiles Conferences, happening in spring 2024. IF looked to collaborate with the SAC, given the nonprofit’s strong representation in apparel and textiles – representing over half of the industry. The organizations will collaborate on session programming, speakers, event marketing, and more.
Over 200 in-person attendees joined the Sustainable Apparel Coalition (SAC), for the second edition of its Manufacturer Forum, on December 4, 2023 in Bangalore, India.
