What Information & Why:
Sustainable Apparel Coalition receives Personal Data for the purposes of providing member services and event administration (collectively referred to herein as “Services”). Specifically, Sustainable Apparel Coalition receives or collects the following types of PD to provide these Services: First Name and Last Name; and Contact information (e-mail address, phone number, physical business address). Visitors to its Site may provide Visitor PD (including name, business email address, IP address) so that Sustainable Apparel Coalition can contact them to provide information about their Services.
Sustainable Apparel Coalition shares PD with trusted data processors for the business purposes of providing the Services and includes the following types of services: event management, CRM, website management, platform hosting, email marketing, marketing communications, and marketing analytics.
Sustainable Apparel Coalition may use aggregated or de-identified information (not containing personal information) (“Aggregated Information”) to analyze trends and improve its Services.

Sustainable Apparel Coalition may disclose PD to a third party if (a) it believes that such disclosure is reasonably necessary to comply with any applicable law, regulation, legal process or governmental request, or (b) to protect the security or integrity of the Services from harm or illegal activities.
Sustainable Apparel Coalition may share or transfer PD in connection with, any merger, sale of Sustainable Apparel Coalition assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of the business to another company. Sustainable Apparel Coalition may share or transfer Aggregated Information to affiliate or related companies for its business purposes.
Sustainable Apparel Coalition retains personal data as long as necessary to provide the Services unless a longer period is required for legal or compliance purposes.

Sustainable Apparel Coalition employs industry standard organizational, technical, administrative and technological measures that are reasonably designed to help protect information from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration or destruction. While Sustainable Apparel Coalition takes reasonable efforts to guard information, no security system is impenetrable.
Policy On Information Collected From Children:
This Site and Services are not directed at children under the age of 13. Sustainable Apparel Coalition does not knowingly collect PD from children under the age of 13.
